Combined Choral

Launceston Home Ed Choir are a group of home educated children who meet every Thursday in The Gateway Community Centre, Launceston and love to sing (and play games!) What started out as a rather shy group of girls (Boys are most welcome too) has grown into a choir of strong, brave individuals who are ready to show everyone what they can do!

 Benakord is a cornish word meaning 'women in harmony' and is an acappella choir for ladies who love to sing unaccompanied in harmony. They only formed in January and meet every Monday in Coads Green Village Hall. 

Both choirs are directed by Paula Every, a local music teacher who also runs 'Sing and Play' for the under 4's, works 1;1 with SEN pupils and sings with Dementia patients. We hope you enjoy our evening of combined choirs in song.
